I am a foreign national looking to get an initial certificate (Private Pilot) OR add a rating onto an existing FAA rating

1. Apply for TSA approval at http://flightschoolcandidates.gov
   For whom is TSA approval required?
2. Fill out our Foreign Student Application and send to us with your deposit
3. Follow all instructions provided by the TSA regarding fingerprinting, etc
4. We will keep in touch with you via email regarding your TSA approval status and when you may begin training

NOTE: Please allow 4-6 weeks from the time you begin the application process to the time you intend to begin flight training.

I am a foreign national who holds a valid airman certificate (pilot's license) issued by another country, and I want to convert it to a US FAA license or add a US FAA rating to it

   NOTE: This may take up to 90 days, so do it first!
2. Apply for TSA approval at http://flightschoolcandidates.gov
   For whom is TSA approval required?
3. Fill out our Foreign Student Application and send to us with your deposit
4. Follow all instructions provided by the TSA regarding fingerprinting, etc
5. We will keep in touch with you via email regarding your TSA approval status and when you may begin training

NOTE: Please allow 4-6 weeks from the time you begin the application process (after receiving your FAA letter verifying your foreign license) to the time you intend to begin flight training.
